I am Harry Huang (aka Wenyuan Huang, 黄问远), a senior standing student of Math & CS at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My academic interests focus on the integration of Reinforcement Learning and Large Language Models to advance intelligent decision-making systems. Currently, I am honored to be supervised by Prof. Josiah Hanna with mentorship from Nicholas Corrado in improving the data efficiency of RL. I'm also conducting research on Hallucination of LLMs and Training of CoT.
I am an active competitive programming pariticipant, having won national first prizes every year during my three years of high school. On November 9, 2024, My teammates and I won the champion of ICPC NCNA 2024. (Check out the school news)
I am serving as a co-coach of UW Madison ICPC team for the 2025-2026 season.
Outside of academics, I excel in swimming, badminton, ice-skating and bouldering. I started learning piano at the age of four and began teaching myself the cello after entering university, participating in a string/symphony orchestra for nearly 3 years.
